We walked from the powwow grounds, through a nearly empty village, back to Elizabeth's apartment. The dancing continued long after sunset. We could fell the vibration of the drums through the floor. And I told Elizabeth that I finally understood why she'd wanted to come to Mtigwaki to teach. ...It's a place where one can learn.
