Noise: Swipe! Bop! Bop! Woman: Richard! Play nicely with Michael! Boy: He hit me first! Woman: I didn't see him hit you. Boy: Well, he did! Elly: Michael, did you hit Richard? Mike: No - it was a part! I patted him, that's all. Elly: Was it a hard pat? Mike: It was a medium pat. Maybe a strong medium pat. Sort of a hit... but, a soft hit. Elly: So, you DID hit him first! Mike: Mom, it was an accident! I didn't mean to touch him, but I did!! Woman: The kids seem happy now, Elly - why don't we just call it "case closed." Elly: OK. *sigh*... moms never seem to get to the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth!

I had a friend with 5 boys, close in ages, and when something like this happened and she didn’t know who was at fault, she’d spank them all! Otherwise, she’d tell them to work it out! It must have worked because all the boys are successful in their professions!!
