He needs reminded what would be if he flunked out dental school

One sentence too many, John. And being married to a dentist doesn’t guarantee security. My father was a successful dentist, and my mother still worked (as soon as we got old enough to take care of ourselves). Since my father died too soon of cancer, my mother was happy that she had a job that took care of her for the next 17 years.

She’s not in an “adult ed” class. She’s taking a credited English class at the local college, trying to finish her degree. I would be very surprised if that type of class had no exams.

He needs a swift kick in the groin area!
