Knowing a little bit about dogs, I’d say that Elizabeth is correct… ;)

I’ve trained my cats to get out of my way when I’m walking. I’m clumsy enough as it is without having moving things under my feet.

    Lynn’s Notes:

I have a friend whose worst accidents at home have been because of her dog. She has tripped over him, fallen over him on the stairs and she even broke her foot when he pulled her down an icy sidewalk one winter. Her favourite quote was “When I saw him at the shelter, I just fell for him!”

There is nothing like a dog!If you want a friend, get a dog. The cops said, your best alarm is your dog.Never heard of a guard cat, unless it’s over 100 pounds!

Poor Farley. He may not get noticed, but his last act ensures that he’s remembered forever.

My daughter and finance have three dogs two adults and one now 6 months old not related. All Golden Retriever’s The older female loves laying by the step we have a bi-level house. We have a saying here when the female lays down we have to pay the toil of a tummy rub to walk over her, she loves it. All three miss the walk as us adults not walking when bitter cold too early for November.

If you’ve ever bumped unexpectedly against a large dog, it would not confuse you. Knees bumped against anything can be hurt; I’ve got the bruises to prove it…

The sound I make when I run into something unexpectedly can’t be printed on this site, but I guarantee you it doesn’t sound like ‘ow’…

You’ll miss him being under foot when he’s gone…

Maybe I’m weird, but when I bump into something unexpectedly I say “oof!” If I bump into something and I hurt myself I say a lot more things!
