Reminds me of the old 1945 movie..“Mr Blanding builds his dream House..” Wife gives instructions to head painter boss ..specific instructions along the lines of the color in a thread for this room and a shade of blue but not to blue for another etc, etc….After she leaves on a errand, painter boss turns to painter employee..“You got that Joe..Blue, green, yellow , orange and brown..”

And he’s not Michael Angelo.

Ugh, those patterned ceilings (like the popcorn ones) are the worst to patch.

Oh, Elly, just let him plaster and go. Some people like to complicate things. If she wants to change the room, she needs to hire someone else, not the plasterer. She wants borders – hire a wallpaperer. Or do it herself – not hard.

Only Elly doesn’t look like a man in drag like Peggy does.

Does anyone know what’s happened to the fborfw web site? I’ve always checked it for Lynn’s notes, but it seems to have disappeared.

Stippled ceilings tend to collect dust, especially in front of air vents. It may take decades, but they will eventually need to be cleaned.

I’ve heard of back-seat drivers, but that’s ridiculous!
