Not to mention putting an empty carton of milk back in the fridge instead of in the trash (or more likely recycling). Also, when I’m working at the Salvation Army donation shed, it annoys me of people bringing me TVs with cords not tied up and rolled-up rugs not tied down.
I actually appreciate empty bottles or containers left out on the counter. Then I know I’m out. When we had lots of kids living with us, that was a requirement. I was so adamant about it, that hubby still does it years later.
Strips like this brought messages of hope and sympathy from moms all over the world. The one criticism I received was, “So, where did Elly find the time to have cookies and tea?”
After divorce, a man will learn that clean clothes do not magically appear in the dresser drawers, but green stuff will magically appear in the refrigerator.
This is something everyone over 18 can understand. Even my husband feels this because he’s “the only one who ever sweeps the kitchen” (except me). Part of the human condition is to feel this way, even when it’s not true! Though it often is, especially with kids around.
As for the TP, we always have it. My greatest sin is leaving it on back of the toilet instead of hanging it properly. But I won’t do without!

It’s true. Kids usually don’t care until they live on their own and they all of a sudden see what people have been doing for them.

Even at work people just leave dishes in the sink. They think the sink fairy will wash them!

All men know that changing the toilet paper roll causes cancer.

I hate it when that happens, too. Happy Father’s day!

Why can’t any body put the toilet lid down. Why can’t any body eat the last slice of bread before opening a new loaf?

As a born-again bachelor I know some things must be done. The toilet seat stays up (mostly) , but the toilet roll gets replaced!

I would pity Elly’s family if she ever decided to go on strike!

donated clothes go right into the washing machine – then they cut up most of them for rags.
