Reminds me of the guy who saw a woman from Chile that he desperately wanted to meet but didn’t know what to say to her. Finally, he approached her and asked, “What is it like to live in a country so narrow?”
I know how you feel, Michael. I have a huge crush on a co-worker of mine, but anytime I get within three feet of him, my mind goes blank in 18 different languages!
Are we sure this is Martha? This girl looks about 4 years older than Michael. She is almost as tall as her locker, she wears a dress, she has an older girl figure, and the hair band which typified Martha’s hair style at camp is not seen on this girl. She doesn’t look much like the summer camp Martha.
When I wrote about the children in the strip, I tried to create situations that were very obviously not about my own children. Nonetheless, Aaron had to explain over and over that Martha didn’t exist! He even got a letter from a Martha, wondering if she was “the one.”

She’ll pretend they never met, after all a girl has standards in front of other girls.

Here’s what Michael’ll be saying soon…
Did you only want me for those three days?
Did you only need me for those three days?
Did you love me forever
