You can close the door on a teenager’s room so you can’t see the mess but the bathroom is shared by others. No one should have to deal with the mess he left in there. My boys’ rooms weren’t perfect but they knew better than to ever leave them like Michael’s.
Because he’s disrespectful of his cohabitants, and it’s a habit that goes way back before he hit his teens. My boys had to clean up after themselves, our home was too small to leave messes for someone else to deal with.
