that happens to me nearly every week at the grocery store.

I met a woman that I used to work with, I remembered her name, but got the place we worked wrong. She looked at me funny when I mentioned the place she never heard of. Hey, one out of two is okay!

Horrible timing on that one, John. Better just tell Elly it was a bad dream, and Patricia is some monster that was in it.

Why does the “Aha moment” always wait until the middle of the night?

That was a thought better left unspoken.

And that’s when the fight started! LOL!!!

I learned many years ago that it’s ALWAYS best to to THINK before I speak.

Well, at least they weren’t having a intimate moment when it hit him and he yelled out another womans name.

Hey, my name is in John’s thought guesses! No one in my entire school system when I was growing up, had my first name. I do think that Patricia is a pretty name, but that one isn’t mine. All the more traditional names from the 50’s aren’t used anymore. If someone called out “oh, Mary!”, 20 girls would turn around. I wouldn’t have, though.

I always had a hard time associating names with faces. It has lead to numerous embarrassing moments, through the years. It gets worse as I age.

The older I get, the more this happens. I’ve tried to explain it to my kids, What’s his name, and The Girl

Seriously; that happened to me yesterday. And yes the name came in the middle of the night. Funny how the brain does that!

If Elly is so insecure that this is a problem, she needs therapy.

Due to how my life worked out at the end of grade 8 I lost track of just about everyone I went to primary school with, same thing at the end of high school. Now I get random people walking up to me all the time who all seem to know me and I haven’t got the faintest idea who they are. Many of them I haven’t seen in over 30 years when they reintroduce themselves. I matured young, haven’t grown, except wider, since I was about 13 years old so apparently I still strongly resemble my younger self where as most of them were still growing, maturing when I last saw them.

Definitely the WRONG place to blurt out another woman’s name. :P
