what (Canadian) baby wouldn’t like winter?

Yes, little baby. As long as mother keeps the nature poetry in her thoughts and not spoken out loud, then you will not know what kind of seasonal thinking is stored in her brain when she is raking / standing around with a rake.

Hey, It’s currently 32 F and forecasted to go down to 26 F for tonight’s low, here in the Nashville area. Brrr!

I never liked winter, but it’s inevitable.

Lynn’s Comments:There were times when I truly wished I was expecting another baby. To make this story real, I had to imagine myself pregnant. Seriously. All of the sentiments, all of the sensations were very real.

I’m in Los Angeles: What’s this “winter” everyone talks about?

Leaves are falling all around

It’s time I was on my way

Thanks to you I’m much obliged

For such a pleasant stay

But now it’s time for me to go

The autumn moon lights my way

For now I smell the rain

And with it pain

And it’s headed my way

Very high winds here today. We’re watching masses of leaves blowing down the street and piling up against a neighbor’s fence. Heh, heh, heh.

Such a sweet strip. Memories of when I lived in Chicago and its weather.

Yes, the natural world is a wonder. Too bad about all the jerk people spoiling it.

If you’re smart, baby, don’t get hatched…I mean birthed. It’s safer where you are.

I don’t think I could have tolerated Canada even if I was born there. Of course I lived in both the deep South and Upstate NY growing up, and I’ll take hot summers and non existent winters over bitter cold any day.

If it weren’t for our 23.5 degree axis of tilt we would have no seasons. We would have belts that stays at one “season” with little or not change.
