Roger: Jason sure wolfed down his cereal. Andy: He wants to get to school early today. Eileen Jacobson is doing her book report presentation this morning, and Jason wants enough time to scoot his desk right up front. Roger: This is the girl he swears he doesn't like. Andy: I TOLD you he's a sweetie underneath it all. (Sign on Jason's desk): Don't choke, Eileen!
I don’t think Jason is trying to be sweet in the last panel, he’s being annoying. Kind of like in a staring contest and someone is saying, “Don’t blink! Whatever you do, don’t blink! Don’t do it!” over and over again.
