Gocomics screwed up and uploaded the full resolution TIFF version of the comic, instead of the web resolution JPEG version. Grab it now while you can! (If you have Firefox, right click on where it says FoxTrot where the image would otherwise be, and select View Image to save it)/
Lately, I’ve needed to view both the e-mailed comics and the website to avoid missing anything. Today, not even that plan is successful. I’ll remember this at renewal time.
This comic can be seen in color at the Seattle Newspaper Online. Here is the website link. Also Cul De Sac as that one was off too. http://seattletimes.nwsource.com/comicsgames/
This strip and Doonesbury are too large to view — maybe about 5 or more times larger than they should appear so only portions of those strips show up and doing a size reduction from the computer only still gets those portions. Since two strips are doing it there will be more.
For Apple users: I just saved it on my iMac by holding down the Control key while clicking the image and choosing that from the drop-down menu. The saved image can be viewed with Preview which has a negative Zoom (shrink) feature.
I never had any problems with Gocomics. Then I decided I should pay for all the pleasure I got from them. Signed up with credit card, etc, and nothing has gone right since. Reading the ones I had as “my comics” used to be easy, bit pain now.
Thanks for the hints… I’m using Chrome. I right-clicked in the rectangular space under the Fox Trot title and SAVED AS the .tif file.Happy Fathers Day!!
I like the Michelin Man muscles on the Super Dad. Also, thanks to various above for suggesting TIFF download alternatives and alternative sites, so I could actually read the comic.

Not to worry — you can always read it at the official website:

This is the third strip to do this. As others said, click on the framed print and then enlarge.

GoComics should fix that bug.Anyway… looks like “Super Dad” Roger Fox does not have a super brain. On picking up hints.

Right-click and SAVE PICTURE AS into a folder. The file is huge but you can read it. The same thing happened to Cul de Sac.

I wonder what you have to pay for a pair of Jason Specs! And do they give you his super (brain) power??
