well, Paige’s brothers and father would like it if their sister and daughter stopped bringing the fire department

All she has to do is follow the directions. She may have set it too high.

Some people just aren’t meant to be in the kitchen.

    I don’t think that’s enough time.

I remember the first time I baked a cake. My friend Liz & I decided to surprise my mother while she was at work. We followed the directions on the cake mix to the letter, poured the batter into the pan, smoothed the top of the batter to the top of the pan, and put it in the oven. How were we to know that cake batter rises? My father was so amused (and, frankly, touched that we would try) that he cleaned all of the cake batter off the bottom of the stove for us. Ugliest cake in history…but still pretty tasty.

I tried making pie dough once, the kitchen looked as if a flour canister exploded. I buy it now, much easier.

The way to a man’s heart is through his stomach. My wife likes to cook. I like to eat. Works out great. We’ve been together for over 50 years.

When my daughter was learning to cook she did very well. But one time I saw her slowly sprinkling the flour into a mixture, so I asked what she was doing. She replied, ‘the recipe said to add the flour gradually’.

Well, it’s not likely to be under anyone else’s belt…
