That’s the tricky thing about delivering exercise equipment – it often comes with weights.

How was Andy even able to carry her husband’s exercise set with ease?

This reminds me. About 20 years ago my husband and I lived & worked in a homeless organization. One of our jobs was doing the grocery shopping for all of the houses in the org. One time, one house had a new house manager, a big guy with huge muscles. I carried a box to him. He said, “I’ll take that.” I handed it to him. He almost dropped it because it was so heavy! Admittedly, he probably didn’t think that it was that heavy because little ol’ 5’-tall feminine me was carrying it. However, the box had 3 gallons of milk, 1 of OJ, 1 of mayo, 1 of mustard, and various meats in it. Yeah, I’m a lot stronger than I look.

I do most of my workout on the floor next to my bed, door sills (arm stretches) and the city sidewalks. No fancy exercise equipment, no gym membership, no need to drive to the gym.

It’s a modification of the exercise program I learned in the military. We had to maintain weight and physical fitness standards. I did it back then because I had to. I do it today because I still can.

Step one in the new exercise regimen: carry the box.

I could never understand what Andy saw in Roger. He is such a total loser. Does he have ANY great qualities or strengths?

Reminds me of that comedian’s TV show, Nathan for You, who gets people to pay to join his “gym” to lose weight and get stronger and proceeds to have them work as the muscle for a moving company.

Just walking and especially swimming is excellent to exercise most if not all of your body’s skeletal muscles and your heart.
