Jason had better hope that Ralph doesn’t find out he could have paused his game…

You don’t need a clip on memory pack for the N64.

Or just make the brat turn off his game! That would be a lot better!

She should blackmail the brat, she knows he can pause it.

Contrary to popular lore, many people do not watch any more than 10% of the hype and promotion for the ‘Big Game.’ Getting into the hype is a good way to be very disappointed in the game. Disappointed enough to actually watch the half-time show.

For those of you who think that Roger should just turn off the computer and punish Jason for his attitude… keep reading. That’s all I’m going to say about it.

My father would have simply said “YOU’RE DONE!”, and that would have been the end of it.

$10.99? I’d pay that in a minute for the convenience of being able to turn off the game anytime I thought it had been on for too long. However, now parents have to buy a copy of each game for each child to play on their computer. You can’t just buy one and share or install on more than one. For Valentine’s Day about 25 years ago, my husband received a very popular, expensive game for our Nintendo. Both boys could share the game but neither owned it.

Why is everyone saying that Roger should just put his foot down and make Jason turn his game off? We all know by now that’s not how he does things.

Jason knows how to play dad when dad is desperate. For us never happen. None of us watch sports. As for video games, we learned to have TV in kids room so not to hog play time on video games. Our son like Jason devoted to video games. As for the souperbowl so tired of the hype. I live in the state that is playing in that game, still not watching. State is KS.

I’ll record the game to watch the commercials later for the laughs – hope they’re good ones… I live in KS but am a Packer fan – so no interest in the game or the outcome…

why would you even START playing a long game that needs an external memory card if you don’t have one? It makes your session pointless.

If I had said anything like that to my Dad — actually trying to imagine me or any of my siblings saying that to Dad completely boggles my mind. And he wouldn’t have said a word, just gave ‘that look’.
