My wife loves football as much as I do, but watching programs about football bores the heck out of us. We’ll turn the TV on at the scheduled kick-off time.
Wow, hard to believe it, but there are actual parents like that out there. I’ve seen them, they are no longer friends of mine. I’m afraid I might catch their stupidity.
If it was my house, my dad would just take the console, put it in a box and leave it in the closet and toss me in my room. You don’t disobey orders around the house. And if you put up a fuss and break things, you get kicked out the backyard for a few hours. Brattiness is not tolerated. And anyone who wants to put the “child abuse” accusation, please do so. I have true stories.
Actually, I’m not sure whether Andy made that suggestion so that Roger couldn’t watch football or so that Jason wouldn’t do something worse in his spare time.

Either buy another TV or break his game controller.

Andy feeding Jason’s video game habit may prove to give her more than she bargained for in the grand scheme of things.

Yes I know it’s just a comic and an old one, but to those of us who have raised children, it is more irritating than funny.

When both parents tell you different things, the kid will go with the one they will enjoy more.

SHE doesn’t like football, so HE can’t watch it. Roger may be a dunderhead, but Andy is a tyrant.

Just part of the dynamics of this family unit, Roger can’t grow a pair without Andy cutting them off.
