Too bad they didn’t think to buy stock in a certain online bookseller then. My Amazon stock is doing fantastic and keeps getting better. Though like them, I do tell my husband it’s not his job to help them make their $$$billions.
I’ve read a couple stories that as the pandemic has gone on (and on…), many people have miraculously become more responsible with their money by watching their spending and paying down their credit card debt along the way.
I’m a little dubious about that, but I got rid of both my credit cards five years ago (not before cashing in my points on one of them for a 24" flatscreen TV first…once it was delivered, the scissors came out for the card). Debit cards are the only way to go, although I use mine almost solely for ATM withdrawals. You can’t dispute a phony debit transaction.

Give Paige a credit card. Internet stores won’t be the only ones in big time debt.
