Constitutionally, I don’t think a president can unilaterally withdraw the country from a treaty. Treaties ratified by the Senate become “the supreme law of the land,” and presidents have no power to cancel laws once they are enacted (Congress can repeal laws, but the president can’t). But, as we know, Trump will do everything he can get away with, and so far, he’s gotten away with a stunning amount of mischief.
