In Houston, no matter how bad the weather is, you don’t have to shovel it. You may have to get the boat out though.

A week ago it swnowed 1 (one) inch. It won’t go away. Six days below freezing.

I love the fresh snow and warm weather. Unfortunately the two don’t go together.

What book says “snow covers everything”? I watched my wife hide her dog’s poop with a kick of snow and this quote is driving me crazy. Think the neighbors will still speak to us in the Spring?

Right, Mom,. there are plenty of fields near Houston where you have to shovel other stuff, though. Ask Lew’s wife.

Try MI all you whimps. “Lake Effects Snowstorm” sounds so innocent. NY gets hit once and we hear about it like it’s a disaster. Up here we yawn and get the Snocat

magnamax@, up here, it snowed before Thanksgiving, and not stayed above freezing long enough to melt it all. And keeps adding a bit every few days.

Lewreader, that reminds me of Martin Luther’s analogy for a repentant sinner: sh!t covered by fresh snow…

Wear some socks with your sandals, B. It’ll help. ;-) Did Luther really use that word. Wouldn’t it have been in German?

The only good thing about that kind of weather is getting in, out of it, & setting fire to something.

@Freeholder, well, yes, but some French bits translate into any language.
