Miss Plainwell: Today was Landon's birthday. Frazz: Oh! Miss Plainwell: He brought in homemade cookies. Frazz: Ooh. Miss Plainwell: And you know school policy: you can only bring in pre-packaged food. So instead of oatmeal scotchies, we got Fudcorp Choco-Whippies. Frazz: I wonder if we worry too much about what might end up in a homemade cookie. Miss Plainwell: I wonder if we worry enough about what we know ends up in a Choco-Whippy. Frazz: Exactly how do you fit two ounces of sugar into a 1.5-ounce bar?
Currently I have two kids w/ nut allergies in my class, birthday & holiday parties can be my personal Bain at times. This is doubly so when Mom or Dad don’t speak English.
