You can still take backroads through small towns

“Back when I was a kid, we didn’t have cancer. There wasn’t any chemotherapy, so we didn’t need it. Still, I do wonder about all those folks who died of Demonic Withering Disease.” Yeah, not one of your best takes, Frazz.

I take one of those fancy drugs, although it’s no longer prescription, and I thank God for it. My acid reflux didn’t feel the way I thought such things would; I thought that I had somehow pulled a muscle in my back. Before it was diagnosed and treated, I was occasionally in absolute agony.

I love picking a destination, and then finding “distractions” a long the way. Because the whole “journey over destination” thing is true. That’s the whole point of a trip.
