I think that Frazz is suggesting that Principal Spaetzel is definetly NOT harsh, but he is clueless. I feel rather sad about Frazz suggesting that. I think Principal Spaetzel is wonderful, gentle character, and to have Frazz suggest he is “clueless” just makes me not particularly like Frazz today. People do not have to be “ultra current” or “aligned with every thought and trend of the moment” to be knowledgeable. +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++And in regard to the life of a teacher or principal or a professor…. the work really does not stop over most holidays like Thanksgiving… it merely shifts into a different form… and so, if anyone is “clueless” it may be the other three who are not Principal Spaetzel.
