One of many pleasant surprises when I moved to the Owens Valley in the high desert of eastern California is that we are out of the fog belt. Dry cold and heat are much more bearable.
We were siting on a sand dune at Lake Michigan on a wonderful hot summer day…..A little grey line appeared on the horizon…As it got closer, we could see that it was a fog bank….It looked pretty cool, really…….Until when it finally washed over us…… The sun went away, the air got cold and damp and I’m pretty sure everybody went to the bar……..

Reminds me of Colbert’s first new who of the year when the screen was frosted over.

Good observation, Gato. Out here our problem is not so much a “foggy glasses” problem as it is a “rainy glasses” problem. Equally irritating, though.

I love how this one was done! Are we seeing through Dr. Spaetzle’s eyes, or is the whole area just foggy?
