I celebrate Thanksgiving by staying home with family and eating. I celebrate Black Friday by staying home and eating leftovers.Shopping can wait.

I eat lunch at a restaurant on black Friday but do no other shopping. Can’t take the crowds.

@Redkaycei You are incorrect. Walmart closes only one day a year. Christmas Day.

I expect that in my lifetime (and I am 66) Walmart and other stores of their ilk will be open on Christmas.

The one near my parents was open til 5 pm on Christmas last year. They reopened at 4 am the next morning.
