    To support your statement, Mrs.Olsen still hates Frazz for being her student.

    Is anyone else having trouble getting comics to appear instead of a tiny question mark? This is about the tenth one

    Katie, yes, I’m having to repeatedly reload pages to get comics to appear. The ads all load just fine though…

    @ Katiekicks: I think North Korea hacked GoComics.

    Yes, slow or nothing showing is very annoying. But what is with these ads pushing the comic way over, or overlaying part of the strip?

    Remember – don’t feed the trolls. Let them die of starvation.

    Is it possible that this particular troll is a ringer? Is bigpuma actually the nom de guerre for Jef? Something just seems askew here.

    @bigpuma

    “the incessant tone of sanctimony and self-congratulation” – well said!

    Yes, Frazz is a saint, and is better than any of us.

    As to “why come here if you don’t like the comic,” you might as well ask why don’t reviewers only review 4-star films or only the greatest novels? Frazz takes up space in my newspaper that could be better served. I’m also a little offended at the presumptuousness of Mallett presenting this as an apparent homage to Calvin & Hobbes. That’s like Quayle comparing himself to JFK. I think Frazz has potential, but I think it could be done better, a lot better, and that’s why I write.

    I understand continuing to read (and stay invested in) a comic strip long after you stopped enjoying it – I’ve done that with other comics (and tv shows!) As a longtime reader, it’s sometimes difficult to give up something that you’ve been doing every day. I’m getting close to giving up on this one myself.
