Frazz by Jef Mallett for September 14, 2016
Transcript:
Caulfield: I fret myself sick about quizzes, and then I ace them with most of the hour to spare. Why do I worry like that? Frazz: Imagination prepares us for possible future surprises. But too good an imagination can convince us of peril we're not actually in. Caulfield: Is that why creative types are so often wacko? Frazz: It's pronounced "tortured".

Why hasn’t this kid graduated from elementary school yet, if he’s so smart. Is this school stuck in some kind of time warp, where no-one ever ages?

Once again our resident scold, Big Puma, misses, because of his unwarranted disdain for the writer/artist, a great thought for an intelligent kid by a caring adult. Pity.

Maybe if you grew up in our world instead of that one you would have.
