Frazz by Jef Mallett for November 27, 2016

Caulfield: Now people can turn on their lights. One holiday has to be over before you can start the next one. That's the rule. Frazz: And rules are rules, even if they're hazardous. Caulfield: Oh, people can put up their lights early. They just have to wait to turn them on. Frazz: And loopholes are loopholes, even when they're suspiciously convenient. Caulfield: Just like I can start making my Christmas list in June as long as I don't turn it in until after Thanksgiving.
That’s a rule I can definitely get behind. Maybe I’m just being an old fart, but as far as I’m concerned, Christmas decorations in stores before Halloween is just plain tacky.
