Frazz needs a big banner like the great Far Side. It was good but not raving good. Ballard Street was just as good!!

NOT all metaphors are helpful. Your ideas are a ratatouille and the world is a dinner table. Go.

The difference is that Wall Street likes to have a zero interest rate.

Some wise person needs to take Caulfield in hand before he loses his spark of curiosity. His parents need to place him in a more challenging environment. Can’t blame Mrs. for everything—she has a class full of other students to deal with. But, of course, that would put a large dent in “Frazz.”

Wow, this is a first. I normally check in here when I need some clarification on the strip from my own paper.

Surprise. It’s a different strip. Checking back, I was confused by the Friday strip in my Thursday edition. See you tomorrow.

If the interest rate has been lowered to zero, why hasn’t he been stimulated?

What she is required to teach to meet the SOL’s (good acronym for what it really is) is the soul killer. No such animal as a one-size-fits-all educational program.

But is he bored by economics or just what’s taught in her class?

    Jef Mallett’s Blog Posts.

Frazz14 hrs · Here’s some economics that’s a little more interesting, or at least improbable. Yesterday I completed my 19th year of syndication. I honestly don’t know how that happened, and I don’t feel a bit more secure today than I did in April of 2001. The best that can be said is that I’ve made friends with the insecurity.

That’s the best that can be said about the improbable economics, anyway. The best that can be said in a wider sense, and it’s a very good thing to say indeed, is that I’ve been able to spend that much time making people a little happier when I get it right, and, even when I don’t get it right, not having to hurt anyone, take anything from anyone, sell anyone anything they don’t need or shouldn’t have, lie to anyone or write a joke that anyone doesn’t get.

Except when I lie to make a joke about never making a joke that anyone doesn’t get.I do know this about economics and comics: If I don’t have people like you consuming it, I don’t get to supply it. I really, truly, cannot thank you enough. But I can keep the Frazzes coming.*

They teach economics to grade-schoolers now?
