Why would an Engishman want to bother to learn French anyway? Let the Frenchman learn English as long as he is in England. Fred, I understand your wanting to impress Fifi, so I don’t blame you for your comment.
I’m sure Joe-Allen is correct, but I can’t top Simon_Jester…I’m still laughing.

‘creuser le jardin’ how funny. At least he tries. Never mind for the accent. How else you would now an Englishman from a Frenchman??
