My all-grown-up-and-moved-away daughter and I were at the church flea market when discovered a bunch of her kid momentos on sale. Awkward…

She made a very basic mistake. She should never have let him know the sale dates. The last thing they need is him hauling a bunch of stuff into the house.

Guess it goes back home for a few dollars more.

Yes, sort of. Jumble sales are more likely to be inside, and maybe even specifically in a church for its benefit. Car boot (car trunk) sales are more like what Americans would call Flea Market. Jumpers are sweaters.

Do you think he’d believe that someone else had the exact same sweater? And made the wise decision to get rid of it?
