I once actually called one of those numbers to report an egregiously bad driver. They seemed completely surprised at my call, and I got the sense that they were having to dust off some program on their computer system that nobody remembered how to use.

Points for being honest

One clever fellow covered the phone number on his truck with duct tape so nobody could report his driving. Only trouble was, he had the only rig messed up that way, so it was easy to figure out who it was.

“My Other Car is a Golf Cart.”

I approve of using correct syntax: “couldn’t care . . .” So many people get it wrong. Well done Bill.
