It’s daylight outside. I thought astronomers worked at night.

Have ET over for a look through the eyepiece. Ask him about the detail resolution.

They appear to be naked standing there, so what do they have to hide?

Astronomer: “That was well over 10 years ago and we really couldn’t see inside.”

Officer: “That would put it way past any statute of limitations – at least here on earth. You can file an Interplanetary complaint. We’ll get to it as soon as we solve all of our disputes here on earth.”

More and more they’re printing stories about aliens on the moon and the astronauts are sworn to secrecy! NASA has top secret info and NOT telling anytime soon‼️☹️

That astronomer has been on probation since the Uranus incident.

Kind of skeptical that the little green folks have standing to bring charges in this situation. Alternatively, they could come down with a representative of their law enforcement, but then they’d have to get permission to extradite the astronomer to their planet. Going to take at least a couple of light years to get this one through the courts.
