Old farts get tighter with their $$$ the older we get!

At this point, I’m thinking if she’s insisting that he bring a bottle of wine and she’s insisting it has to cost at least $15, she should go out and buy it herself.

My daughter asked me to buy her a $400.00 purse for her birthday on the rare occasion that I had the money. I got her the purse then, a year later I said no more expensive gifts please, for me as well. I don’t like the way my family implies a debt when the buy me something expensive.

Then don’t see your friends and go there?

Then go to the community Center instead of going to see your friends?

Then go there instead of buying wine for your friends.

Why doesn’t he go to the Community Center instead of going to his friend’s house if he really doesn’t want to buy wine so badly?

Why doesn’t the dad go to the Community Center instead?
