Time was, when I read the Frog Blog I’d be disappointed when I ran out of new things so now I only read it on Mondays so it goes on and on and I’m happier.

As long as we’re naming vintage beautiful women, I need to put it in a plug for one of my favs, Dawn Wells (Mary Ann from Gilligan’s Island). What male didn’t have a crush on her? Not only was she sweet and beautiful, but she would ALSO make you pie!

Teresa: “The creepy guy offstage” was Willie Bryant, the MC at the old Apollo Theater when it hosted many of the great old Harlem jazz shows, such as “Basin Street Review”. He was also a musician and bandleader himself, in earlier years.

P.S. Martha Davis and Spouse (as their act was billed) were featured in “Basin Street Review” (along with others such as Sarah Vaughan, Lionel Hampton, Nat “King” Cole, Cab Calloway, Count Basie - the list goes on and on) - could be where your video was taken.

Just to be picky (I know Teresa demands accuracy): It’s Cybill Shepherd, not Shepard. Just as beautiful under either name, of course. ;-)

Re: FLOG contest

@ RayC - you lost me at Schrodinger @ margueritem - a truly inspired effort. My favorite so far (much better then my lame latin locution) @ st2 - we’re (im)patiently waiting @ 3hourtour - if a cheese eating surrender monkey (like Ryan) can do it, how come a tea sipping pinky pointing hummer like you can’t?
