It can’t be Mark Trail. His collar is loose and none of his thoughts are in BOLDFACE CAPITALS.

Violet flames rising from his feet, throughout his body. Taking away all angry thoughts. Breathe in positive. Breathe out negative.

Why do I have the feeling his violet thoughts are about Vlad?

    Don’t worry, Mz T, he’s no competition.

My first thought was, like margueritem, Mark Trail. But now I’m thinking more Hugh Hefner.

I remember C.Howard’s Violets. Used to buy them occasionally.

Cue in the sax and violins.

^^ I agree, Ryan! But we have to remember that those who object the loudest are the ones that feel the most repressed from doing it. Someone should paint Keith Ablow’s toenails and let him feel what he wants to feel about it.

The words of Jeanne Sager (a parenting blogger) on this subject express exactly what I thought when I heard about this ridiculous “story” - ”So go back and look at that picture in the J.Crew ad, will you? What do you see? Do you see pink nail polish on a boy? Or do you see a little boy named Beckett, with beautiful blond curls, and a mom who looks like she is impossibly in love with her kid, in the very best way? Because that’s what I see.”

Ok, I’ll admit that I was a bit confused when I figured out that the male voice I heard in the movie was actually coming from the cute chick on the screen.

I agree 100% with everything said in the video. Unfortunately, most people are too bigoted to bother trying to understand it.

“Loud and clear” is some sort of acoustic listening device. Usually they were much larger than the set in the picture, and were used to detect aircraft at night or through clouds. I can’t find the original picture anywhere, but the uniforms look like German uniforms from WW I. The Germans are supposed to have had listening devices to detect trench raiders as they crossed no man’s land, so that would be my guess. The goggles may have been designed to cut out stray light from the side and sharpen night vision. (Alternately, the goggles might have had red filters, so you could sit inside a dugout and not have your night vision degraded by relatively bright light.)

Keith Ablow is a psychiatrist. With few exceptions, my impression of them is that they see mental disorder in just about everything. i had the same impression about the interaction between Jenna and her son.
