I love the delicate mauve shading on the background today! What peacful coloring.

Can’t say enough about the turtle, Dogsniff. That would be amazing even with knives, much less a chainsaw.

Green Turtles nest here on the Florida east coast, and of course they are endangered. People are now kept off beaches at night during nesting season, because the females can get spooked even by people who want only to watch the nesting. It’s something to watch a whole parade of the new hatchlings heading toward the ocean, though. Most of them will be supper for sharks and other predators.

I have to agree with everyone and say that turtle is awesome! Do you sell your work anywhere?

I’m a turtle lover so that carving was really awesome. I also liked the photo of Ringo Starr with John Ritter.

…and happy birthday as well. I made a point of wearing my birthday suit for the celebration.
