Re the blog: No Boating. Seems that Yankee tree didn’t take too kindly to being used by some local nabob.I have a wonderful(?) picture in my mind of a chorus line of jackbooted, pantie clad, chervelat eating nazies, ala Mel Brooks or Sacha Baron Cohen high kicking and singing!

I won’t ask why the cervelats were in your panties because I already know why.

Seeing the sword swallower, I must say R.I.P. Drew Keriakedes (Shmootzi the Clod). Five very talented and interesting people lost their lives in two senseless attacks in Seattle a few days ago.

I suppose one should be pleased that they didn’t eat your panties and try on your cervelats.

    Teresa,

I started reading “Shoecabbage” before I read FA. I sometimes miss new ones nowadays since the update cycle seems to be related to the lunar tides on Saturn or some such thing and I forget to look.

About collecting old bones for Freedom: When I was a child during WWII, there was a geezer who used to drive a horse drawn junk wagon around the neighborhood. He would call out, “Rag, bone, hack!” over and over. I never did figure out what he meant by hack, but he did collect rags and bones. Don’t know exactly what he did with them either. This was in downtown San Francisco.

Wonder if it’s the overlords who’ve been stealing my socks, one at a time?

And wasn’t it the Prince (who liked ‘toast ’n color’) that was eaten by his panties (right up against the fence)?

Bones are a good source of phosphorus which is useful in wartime for making bombs and tracer ammunition as well as matches.

Makes me wonder if a little animation wouldn’t up the lame factor on this strip.

There are way too many jackbooted overlords these days. Maybe you try putting poison in some of your cervelats…. Since they tried on all your panties, I take it that means you aren’t wearing any these days?
