“I’m guessing that’s how Gracie’s mother look before her untimely demise”.
That was a comment I posted in Baldo. In the last panel, Gracie transform in an older version of herself which made think that’s how her look like her before she died. From which I found out via a reply from another poster how Gracie’s mother died…and it infuriated me. She WAS KILLED A DRUNK DRIVER!!!…which leads me to the next question below..

Since childhood, I’ve been warned by my parents about alcoholism. And throughout the entertainment world, from silent films to the Internet, this mental disease has been used as a comedy vehicle. From Charlie Chaplin to The Marx Brothers; from W.C. Fields to Richard Pryor. I found it funny to start with, but as I grow older, I realized it’s not something to laugh about anymore. And comic strips like The Wizard of ID and a few more I’ve seen today as I post this isn’t helping either.

That also came from the same comic strip, The Wizard of ID. And why I say that is because of the 3 recent tragedies that happen down there this month: 1). A female runner-up singer contestant from The Voice was shot and killed by a mentally disturbed man. 2). One day later (early Sunday morning), 49 people were massacred at a gay nightclub by another disturbed man, making it the worst mass killings since the 9/11 terror attacks. Finally 3). And this is very tragic, a young male child was grabbed by an alligator at a lake at Disney World while has parents fought to save him. He was recovered from the lake the following day. Which again I say Orlando’s not “The Happiest Place on Earth” for us right now. We plan to go there in August, but instead, it’ll be “Florida’s First Coast City”, Jacksonville instead. -Well, there are your answers. If you still wanting to know about us posting our cartoons, reply now and I’ll reply this afternoon. Remember, I can’t reply if you don’t reply!
A troll is a person who sows discord by starting arguments or upsetting people by posting inflammatory, extraneous, or off-topic messages with the deliberate intent of provoking readers into an emotional response or otherwise disrupting normal on-topic discussion, often for their own amusement.—Wikipedia-The regulars here, who love Teresa and Frog Applause, occasionally respond/react to troll activity AFTER it enters the Lame Zone, but I don’t recall anyone picking on a friendly newcomer. More times than not, unfriendly types deposit their vitriol and leave without so much as a response. I know that a lot of people don’t care for Frog Applause; it’s proudly not a comic strip for everyone. I actually like it when people who dislike FA leave a detailed comment stating why they find it abominable. What I dislike are one-sentence drive-bys with no imagination.
