So… one question, and I know this is a comic. But will they allow a 9 year old girl by herself board a boat from a children’s camp island to the big city (Toronto obviously, though not directly implied) … in comics they might, in real life they would not even let her board and contact the adults at the camp to come pick her up…
Toronto Islands ferries are free return. Kate came over with the camp, so she won’t need a return ticket. Bikes and pets are allowed. Kate breaks one rule though. Find out soon!
Toronto Ferries is very safe and very liberal. A nine year old may ride it if she has a ticket; she doesn’t need a chaperon. At any rate, Kate came over with the camp, as a group. Return tickets are not needed and bikes and pets are allowed on the ferry. Kate, and the story, will develop ‘different’ complications! Hold on to your hats, it’s going to be a wild ride!

No, Kate, of course you won’t attract attention! None at all.
I sure hope they don’t need to buy tickets for the boat. That could be awkward. I guess Kate could pretend they are her teddy bears.

Knowing Kate, she’ll make the boat and take her new friends with her. Just stay focused Kate. I can’t wait to see what’s next.

Marie and I have always wanted to visit Toronto, especially since we are such big Murdock fans.
