Well it flew away, Kate. It only went about five foot but it definitely flew away!

I’ve never heard of them being a “Wishing Bug” before. That’s a cute name for them and I love her hat!

My Gracie (a Peekapoo who is now in doggie heaven) used to snatch flies from the air! Such a feat!

Looks like a bit of fluff from a Cottonwood tree. My old street must have had more potential than I realized.

Everything goes into a puppies mouth. Not all of it comes back out. Buddy still eats sticks.

One wish per wishing bug, and Sirius got it.

We called them fairy wishers. After capture, wish and release they had to stay airborne until they went so far we couldn’t see them anymore.
