A situla is an Iron Age decorated bucket or if you prefer, Stella’s definition.

A toga is a Roman garment worn by male citizens. Its color and decoration, if sany, is specific to status and occasion. A situla appears to be a bucket of many forms and uses per Google.

None of this is funny however, so let’s just go with Shawm’s definition.

Stella’s definition is just about guaranteed to get a chuckle from Katie’s teacher along with a wrong answer mark.

Kate’s teacher will certainly suspect that Dad helped her on the answer.

So many interesting things to learn about mythology, such as it’s purpose, deeper meanings, influences, and references. For a young person, learning about the charactors and stories themselves is interesting. But to assess for the meaning of situla? Not really the point. Shawm’s joke is worthy of the question.

    I don’t get it.

Is Shawn confusing a situla with a fibula?
