Mr. Pursell,,, I thought that was an English phrase. I met lots of great people in the U.K., but I met an equal number of a$$ holes. most of whom were those dealing with the public. William: If it helps, an exact translation for ‘up yours,’ would be ‘sod off,’ and I do mean exact. From one Irishman to another.

William: When I was in California in the 60’s, An often used phrase by those that didn’t want to be so crude, was “Up your nose with a rubber hose.” I seem to remember it came from a TV show. This cartoon reminded me of that, and you did as well. I still think it’s a funny phrase.

PS: I see it’s from “Welcome Back Kotter”, a 70’s TV show. You’ve probably seen it.
