Run Liz, By GARFIELD’S 4TH LAW: Jon is a monster of stupidity and coward. But he might be a crazy stupid scientist who could turn into that large fish and devour Liz.
I love those old 1950s sci-fi movies with the giant monsters, ants, grass hoppers, “The Giant Claw”, etc. Just watched “The giant Gila Monster” the other day.
sorry, but i have never understood the appeal of horror/monster movies. (probably has something to do with being scared &#^$& by The Tingler when I was a wee lad)
Hey, at least the lab assistant’s fiance isn’t the scientist turning into the giant silverfish. Or maybe it’s like a Beauty and the Beast sort of thing.

was the movie to which Liz was referring “Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde”? (she — along with Garfield — sure was calm when that onscreen scream came in)

Jon sure looks like his brother in that last panel. Makes me wonder what goes on behind the scenes at the family farm.

That Liz didn’t even blink nor did Garfield. Maybe Garfield gave Liz a heads up about the ‘date night’ movie…

It is never a good idea to watch science fiction on Easter Sunday; instead, we should pray with the Lord. #truefact :)

It’s not a movie where the scientist turns into a horrible monster, it’s a movie where the scientist already is a horrible monster.
