Reminds me of an older strip where Jon actually gets a date and tells Garfield to pinch him and that he must be dreaming. Take a guess how that ended.

Many of us talk to our pets. The concern comes when one believes that the pets talk back.

For years! He’s been talking to a cat for decades!

I talk to my pets and they listen to my voice, it creates a closeness, a bond when you focus on your pets and they on you.

I mean…if it was a dream would the people in it tell you?

Garfield, Jon has talked to you for years and that was not a dream.

And the cat talks back in thought bubbles…

Jon’s been talking to a cat for almost forty-seven years now.

If Garfield actually talked then this would’ve been a dream the whole time

I talk to my cats all the time.

Some days my cat is the voice of reason……..

I was dreaming this morning and hated to wake up. :)

Cats are great conversationalists. They never interrupt you.
