What was in the Peanut Butter? A bone?

Who can blame him? Peanut butter is just so good!

Back before the turn of the century, the Conan O’Brian Show indicated that in the year 2000,

“Peanut Butter Will No Longer Stick To The Roof Of A Dog’s Mouth.”

I had a dog who absolutely HATED peanut butter. But that boy could put away some pesto!

Maybe Gorilla Glue.

At least that makes his jaws stay clamped shut!

Mmmm, I love peanut butter. So worth it.

I grew up with a couple of brothers who were quite mean to me. I didn’t say much to my parents for fear of retribution, but when they gave my dog 2 MaryJanes (peanut butter candy) and she couldn’t get her mouth open to breathe, I called my Dad. We helped her with warm water and my brothers got grounded. I paid for it later but you know, mess with me I’ll take it. Mess with the dog and you’re dirt. There is no peanut butter in my home.

Next time, don’t let the dog get into the peanut butter.

I love putting peanut butter on my finger and then when the dog opens her mouth I smear it on the roof of her mouth. Keeps her tongue going for a few minutes. A German Shedder and she comes back for it every time I am making a peanut butter sandwhich. Our black lab did the same thing.
