I have no problem with either the official title “Independence Day” or the unofficial descriptive term “The Fourth of July.” To me, they both mean the same thing. IMO, too much rancor has entered this discussion of terminology, on both sides. Joe, it is one thing to say that you prefer the use of the official title, but to repeatedly make that point over several days, while implying that those who choose to use the other term are wrong to do so, is overkill. As for those ridiculing and insulting Joe, you also need to get your own lives.
