If you’re using Explorer, and your mouse has a wheel… hold down the “Ctrl” key while rolling the wheel back and forth to adjust the size of the display.
CDK, I just checked, and a magnifying glass works just fine on my LCD screen. Presumably, reading glasses would work as well. If you insist on a software solution, the “Accessibility” section of the “Preferences” menu on my Linux OS (fedoraproject.org) includes a “magnifier” that works great. Presumably, Windows has something similar. There really is no need for a gadget on the web page itself.
Well, on my (Firefox) browser for the last three weeks, the magnifying feature on the gocomics site has not worked for Sundays only. Makes me wonder if it’s a bug from the recent ‘upgrades’, or are they trying to coerce people into signing up for PRO.

JIm, many of us, I know, hope you are up in Boston having a grand time with fellow artists at the 65th Annual Reuben Awards dinner!
