BigHappyElf – I agree 100%! I learned in retail that the customer is definitely NOT always right. Many times I had to call a manager to talk to them. The manager would always kowtow to the fool customer and remind me that both the customer and the manager are nearly always WRONG!
Well, Jum skipped Pearl Harbor Day and had no Wallets on Thanksgiving and hasn’t done a fall walk in years. For Christmas, he’ll probably have a strip of the Pye boys stripping one of Clovia’s customer’s cars; or of Skeezix’s mailman catching them.
Another disappointing Sunday. GoComics should take Walt off the banner for this strip. It’s now these buffoons every Sunday. What a disappointment. I’m maybe two Sundays away from removing this strip from my collection. I really miss the GA that used to grace the Sunday paper.
Susan….. I agree with you that Joel and Rufus are a delight to have. The other story line has been a bit of a challenge to maintain interest in for me for weeks now. I wish there would be a new long term story that features Joel and Rufus. Those story lines are always wonderful!!!!

I always said “The customer is always right unless I can prove him wrong.” I worked in hardware.

One of my coworkers swears that the people who write our company’s job tickets believe that 2 + 2 = 9.
