It looks like the latency period is a thing of the past. And good riddance to it! Even at Boog’s age, the world needs more lovers than fighters.

ok here’s a stupid question, but i havent read gasoline alley in DECADES… is this “Boog” the same kid as “Rover”? and second stupid question.. what happened to the little white kitten that rufus used to carry around with him all the time?

Boog’s eyes are rather creepy if you ask me. Let us hope Joel and Rufus return soon!

@tsull2121: Boog is Rover’s son, hence the resemblance. Rufus still has Kitty, along with a stray cat that took a shine to her and a bunch of their kittens.

Actually, all the characters from Walts generation (Doc, Mr. Pert, Avery, etc.) have died except for Walt.
