I usually love this strip but come on guys – she delivers a baby in the forest and the dad and brother don’t even look at the baby much less get the momma and baby to the hospital where they can be checked out and everything. Makes no sense standing around and making jokes.
The hospital will shoot the baby full of vaccines his little immune system is not ready for yet. Antibodies in mama’s milk will protect her for a few weeks. The beauty of home birth (or forest birth) is that you can schedule vaccines and stuff at a time best for the baby – not for hospital management.
Most home births are trouble free. But when a birth goes wrong (breech, etc), and mom is rushed to the hospital – the risk is higher – and it makes the hospital statistics look bad. That is why they don’t like home births. The right way is to engage a nurse midwife with hospital privileges ahead of time. This records the context of any emergency.

“and I am an orange flavor” Uh, the meaning/intent here alludes me. Any assistance is appreciated.

Someone named Rover should not refer to himself as “Paw”. He’s the whole dog.
